About Dr. Wong

Dr. Herbert Wong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto and has been a full-time staff member at Women’s College Hospital and the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre since 2004, where he is the Director of the Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery training program.

Dr. Wong believes a holistic approach to women’s health is essential to providing women with the best possible care.  He is passionate about staying at the forefront of women’s health care and, after thoroughly examining the evidence, believes the MonaLisa Touch® offers an effective, hormone and chemical free treatment for women facing post-menopausal or post breast cancer treatment symptoms.

Dr. Wong graduated from the University of Toronto School of Medicine, in 1998, and completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology, also at the University of Toronto.  He went on to complete an AAGL Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.  He also holds a master’s degree in Physiology from the University of Western Ontario.

“I see women everyday who are suffering from GSM, and I know how much these symptoms impact not just how they feel physically, but emotionally – in terms of their self-confidence and relationships.  Women, living well into their 80s, will spend a third of their life post-menopause. They deserve vaginal health and they deserve to enjoy physical intimacy. This is a conversation women should feel empowered to have with their physicians. Let’s talk about it!” – Dr. Herb Wong

A complete gynecological evaluation is essential before any treatment. Dr. Wong will help you to decide if the MonaLisa Touch® treatment is the right treatment for you.
